Find out what hepcat has to say.....
Hep cat is our in-house gramatical expert. Obviously he does nothing all day.
Go visit BigUp de Munk; my attorney at law and
racquet-ball partner. Don't ask him about the "purple pigmentation"
thing he's got. He doesn't like to talk about it and doesn't like to
be made to feel grumpy.
.WAV File Juke Box
Eventually I will have lots of sounds and information but it may
not happen until towards the end of April 1999. This is all here simply
to entertain you until I'm done. Please come back before then to see
if I've added more. All objects on this page are linked to a sound;
or a link of some kind; click around and see what I've got. This site
will primarily be concerned with Reggae but will most likely include a variety
of African / African-American music.
One thing to Note: Since Fortune City gives me 20MB of file space I'll be able to have a large variety of sounds and will most likely offer downloads of my own work. One problem is that I am still in the dark ages using .wav format. The other problem is that I can only upload in 1MB increments so I will have to sacrifice sound quality and length for live sound bites. That might not actually be a bad thing considering the current fuss over MP3 Until I figure out a solution, you can download and re-sample it back to 30,000+ Hz. Many of the files I'll offer will be easy to loop, thereby increasing length, if you have some sort of sound editing capability.
SHAKEY DISCLAIMER: Keep in mind that this was written by Big Up de Munk so it is a little, dare we say, unprofessional. But don't tell him that lest he mess you up.
